01 Binding Agreement

Welcome to Chemka Luxury Villas. By booking accommodation, packages, excursions, or day passes with us, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not complete your reservation.

These terms govern all guests, occupants, day pass holders, visitors, and users of the Chemka Luxury Villas premises and services.

02 Booking & Payments

To secure a booking, a deposit equal to at least 50% of the total reservation cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to or upon arrival at check-in.

All rates quoted are in US Dollars ($) or Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) converted at the hotel's daily exchange rate. We accept major credit/debit cards, bank wire transfers, and verified mobile money transfers in Tanzania.

03 Cancellations & Refunds

Any cancellation of bookings must be submitted in writing via email. Refunds for cancellations are processed according to the following schedule:

More than 30 days before arrival date: 100% refund of deposit, minus bank transaction fees.
14 to 30 days before arrival date: 50% refund of the deposit amount.
Less than 14 days before arrival date: The deposit is non-refundable.

04 Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 14:00 (2:00 PM) onwards.
Check-out: By 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and may incur additional charges. Valid passports or national IDs must be presented during registration for Tanzanian national security compliance.

05 Springs & Pool Regulations

Access to the Chemka Hot Springs and our swimming pool is at the guest's own risk. We do not provide active lifeguards. Guests are expected to practice safety precautions at all times.

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Swimming after sunset or before sunrise is strictly prohibited.
No glass containers, bottles, or sharp objects are permitted near the water or spring banks.

06 Guest Conduct & Damages

We promote a peaceful environment. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities on premises will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Guests will be held liable for any damages, missing items, or destruction of villa property caused by themselves or their invitees, and will be charged the full replacement cost.

07 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
